| Leupold Quick Release Rings. The characteristic that distinguishes the Quick Release mount system from the Dual Dovetail and STD systems is the ability to remove the scope from the rifle and reattach it without the loss of zero. This feature can be very appealing for several reasons. In some situations, it may be preferable to remove the scope when cleaning the rifle. Another common application of the system would be to remove the riflescope before shipping the rifle in baggage when traveling by plane.
